About
What DividendsCut is.
Built by Sylvain — software engineer, dividend investor.
DividendsCut is a focused alerting tool: it watches the dividend-paying stocks on your watchlist and sends you an email the moment one of them cuts, suspends, or eliminates its dividend. No predictions, no opinions, no noise.
Retail investors typically find out about dividend cuts from weekly newsletters or financial media — often days after the announcement. By then the share price has already moved. DividendsCut closes that gap by running daily checks and delivering alerts within 24 hours of the company's official declaration.
What we deliver
- Reliable detection. Daily checks against current declaration data. If a stock you track cuts, suspends, or eliminates its dividend, the system flags it.
- Quick alerts. Email out within 24 hours of the company's announcement — usually well before mainstream financial media covers it in depth.
- Honest sources. Market data from a well-established financial data provider. Research cited on the blog links to the original studies — no invented figures.
- No financial advice. What to do when an alert lands is your call. The tool exists to make sure the information reaches you on time.
What this isn't
It isn't a hedge fund newsletter, a stock-picking service, or a "next 10X dividend" prediction engine. It detects what's been declared and reports it. That's the whole product.
The blog cites academic research to frame why timely dividend monitoring matters — but the value is the email landing in your inbox at 9am on a Tuesday, not any opinion about where markets are heading.
